Phoenix Productions is a non-profit community theatre organization in Red Bank, NJ that recreates your favorite musicals in extravagant revivals at the Count Basie Theatre. Thanks to the advantages of this Broadway-sized theatre with a large professional stage, we mount full-scale productions complete with full sets, lighting, costumes and orchestra, all at the cost of parking in midtown Manhattan.

Happenings at Phoenix Productions
Renovations Ahead for
Phoenix Rehearsal Center
After eight years in our own building (formerly a Wawa), we have an urgent need to improve and enhance the facility for black-box performances. This is especially urgent because the Count Basie Theatre will be closed for four months in 2008 for their own renovations. So black box performances will be essential to our psyches and our cash flow during that period.
Our plans include a new side entrance, changes to interior walls, new HVAC ducts and vents, and some electrical work. In addition, we will need new chairs for our audience and other performance equipment, and finally a fresh coat of paint throughout.
Money is of course an issue. We estimate the costs to be in the range of $10,000. And so we are embarking on a fundraising campaign to help defray the costs of the improvements. Phoenix Welcomes New Board Member
TOM FRASCATORE
A familiar face at the theatre, Tom first appeared with Phoenix in 1776, then directed High School Musical and capped off the season by playing the Captain in The Sound of Music.
