Gala Audition

Announcing open auditions for Phoenix's 2019 Gala:

Auditions will be held on Saturday January 19th and Tuesday January 22nd with callbacks by invitation the following week.  Rehearsals start February 2nd and will be held on weekends and evenings.  All auditions and rehearsals are at the Phoenix Performing Arts Center at 59 Chestnut Street, Red Bank.

The one-night concert performance will be held on the main stage at the Count Basie Center for the Arts on Friday March 8th, 2019.  Tickets go on sale February 1st.

The production team requests each auditionee prepare 32 bars of an up-tempo Broadway-style song that best showcases your performance skills.  Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key and be prepared to dance.  An accompanist will be provided.

All roles are open and all ages are welcome to attend.* 


Audition Schedule as follows: 

Saturday January 19th

10am-11am Ages 4-7

11am-1pm Ages 8-12

1pm-4pm Ages 13 and up

Tuesday January 22nd

7pm-9pm Ages 13 and up

*All performers are welcome to audition, you need not have performed in a previous Phoenix show
(as was a requirement of last year's gala).
