Corporate Sponsorships

Supporting Phoenix Productions puts your company in the spotlight, helping to enhance your brand and allowing you to reach new customers. Arts partners support the entire community, contributing to the local economy and quality of life while creating an environment that blends backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures. And communities with a vibrant arts scene are desirable places for talented individuals to live, work and play. Providing access to the arts is a great way to show you appreciate your employees, your customers and your neighbors. We would be grateful for your partnership in creating a black box theatre and establishing access to all the educational, and often inspirational, experiences this resource would afford.

2018 Show Sponsorship Opportunities

Annie – April 20-29th 2018

For many grown ups, Annie was their very first show and their introduction to the world of theatre. Based on the popular comic strip, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of New York City. The sun will come out when you bring all of the children in your life to see this delightful show!

In the Heights – June 22, 23 and 24th 2018

Set over the course of three days in Washington Heights, New York City, In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding the traditions you take with you and which ones you leave behind. In the Heights boasts music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (creator of Hamilton) and is the winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical.

1776– October 12 - 21st 2018

Just as the 2018 elections are building to a frenzy, 1776 will remind us all of the world our forefathers envisioned when they created this nation. With music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards and a book by Peter Stone, 1776 is a compelling story breathing fresh life into the events surrounding the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The story follows historical figures John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson as they attempt to convince the members of the Second Continental Congress to vote for independence from the shackles of the British monarchy by signing the Declaration of Independence. 1776 is an entertaining and educational experience for the whole family!

The Hunchback of Notre Dame – November 9 - 18th 2018

Based on the Victor Hugo novel (author of Les Miserables) and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award – nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. Peter Parnell’s new book embraces story theatre and features verbatim passages from Hugo’s Gothic novel. The musical begins as the bells of Notre dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be “Out There”, observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit, though – the handsome Captain Phoebus and Frollo are equally enthralled. As the three vie for her attention, Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the gypsies – and it’s up to Quasimodo to save them all. This masterpiece of literature comes to life on the Count Basie stage for two weekends only this November!
