About Phoenix’s Blackbox Theatre Fund:

Phoenix Productions is a non-profit community theater organization, performing four Broadway revivals for more than 20,000 patrons annually at the Count Basie Theatre. Our 2017 Blackbox Theatre Fund provides the resources to transform studio space at the Phoenix Performing Arts Center into a new performance venue. This blackbox theatre will allow for an enhanced schedule of Phoenix productions, including shows for children and seniors and even original works. We also envision expanded education and community outreach initiatives, providing opportunities for artists and craftspeople of all ages to learn, grow and experience live theatre.
