Come to our Newcomers’ Open House on Saturday February 8th from 11am to 3pm at the Phoenix Rehearsal Center, 111 Monmouth Street, right next to the Count Basie Theatre.
You will meet producers, directors, set designers, costume designers, performers and others who have found enjoyment and satisfaction in being part of the Phoenix family.
There are many skills involved in mounting our productions and many hands and minds are needed to make the magic. Producer Andrea Zawadzky and Associate Producer Brian LaRue have assembled the production staff and announced open auditions for our April production of Shrek The Musical. Heading up the artistic staff as Director is Rick Joyce, a newcomer to Phoenix. He will be supported by Joe Wajda as Musical Director (Annie, Miss Saigon) and veteran Kelly Gemellaro (Hairspray, Rent, High School Musical, The Music Man) as Choreographer.

Phoenix is proud to announce our slate of producers for our 2014 Season.
Andrea Zawadzky will head up Shrek, opening in April.
Anthony Greco will be in the driver’s seat this July for Grease.
Christine Paccillo will keep the team in tune for The Sound of Music.
Tom Martini and Lindsay Wood will join forces for November’s Spamalot.
There are several positions available for all shows. Anyone interested in working on any of the shows is encouraged to email (click on the producer’s names) the producers and let them know of your abilities.
After a three-year search, we have signed a contract to purchase the home of our future. This adventure will begin a new era for Phoenix Productions — from a theatre company doing mainstage shows to a theatre company with a multi-faceted performing arts program. Season Subscription forms have been put in the mail to afford our 2013 Subscribers the ability to reclaim their great seats and preferential treatment.
As announced by Chariman of the Board, Tom Martini, Shrek will turn everyone into believers in April. Grease will thrill in July. September will see the hills come alive with The Sound of Music and November will end with laughs erupting from Spamalot.
