It takes a team to launch any one of our productions.  For every 1 person on stage, it takes about 5 behind the scenes to keep things on track.  We are constantly looking to add new members to our team.  Whatever your skill, we have a spot where you can help.

  • Costumes
Phoenix’s most urgent need is for individuals who can sew, although we also need individuals to help with arts and crafts tasks such as hot gluing, decorating, etc. Furthermore, Phoenix has an extensive costume collection and is always in need of volunteers to help maintain the collection and help with the logistical aspects of renting out costumes. Lastly, Phoenix is looking for hairstylists to work with wigs. Any and all who are interested may contact our  Costume Staff.
  • Box Office Staff
Phoenix looks for self-motivated, dependable individuals to perform administrative duties and ticket processing functions in our part time box office. Strong computer, interpersonal, and communication skills are a must. Also, the individual must have evening and weekend availability. Interested applicants may contact Holly Hankins.
  • Set Construction
Phoenix is always looking for individuals with good carpentry skills to build scenery from lumber, foam, muslin, etc. Set construction usually takes place in the evening and on weekends with a fully experienced set construction. Interested individuals may contact Scott Naef.
  • Camp Phoenix Staff
Phoenix’s summer day camp staff consists of a Director, Music Director, Choreographer, and several Counselors/Assistants. Phoenix hires some full-time and some part-time staff for the six-week session in July and August. To apply for one of these positions, email Lindsay Wood. Note: Camp Phoenix staff positions are only offered to those who have worked with Phoenix before, on or off stage.
  • Rafflers
Phoenix conducts raffles at each of our productions and is always in need of rafflers to help support our fundraising activities. Raffling is a great way to help Phoenix and each raffler gets a free ticket to the show they volunteer for. Note: Rafflers must be at least 18 years of age. Those who are interested may contact our Raffle Coordinators.
  • Musicians
Phoenix Productions prides itself on having a live orchestra perform at each mainstage show. For each production, the respective Music Director chooses professional musicians to be a part of the orchestra for that production. If you are a professional musician who is interested in playing in the pit at any of our shows, please contact Lindsay Wood.
  • Other Volunteer Positions
Set painting, set decorating, finding props, tech crew – there are dozens of opportunities for anyone who is interested in helping Phoenix bring our shows to life. No specific talent or experience is necessary! We’d love to help you find a place in our organization, so please contact Lindsay Wood.
