| Phoenix Productions is a non-profit community theatre organization based in Red Bank, NJ. We recreate your favorite Broadway musicals in full scale revivals at the Count Basie Theatre. Thanks to the advantages of this newly renovated Broadway-sized theatre with a professional stage, we can mount extravagant productions with full-scale sets, costumes, lights and orchestra -- all at less than the cost of parking in Manhattan. |
The King & I comes to the Basie . . .
and Lakewood's historic Strand!
Our revival of the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic will play six performances at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, then travel to the historic Strand Theater in Lakewood for an additional two performances on Saturday, October 2. Heading the cast will be Chris Pica as the King and Deborah Dutcher as Anna. Yaeko Oh will play Tuptim, Raymond See will play LunTha. Andrea Brooks is Lady Thiang and Casey Okamoto is The Kralahome.Griffin Cole will play Anna's son, Louis, and Paul Liu will play the Crown Prince. Details.
